He thought that once capitalism naturally collapses (which it never did) the people will just kinda figure out how to organize society anew. He was mostly concerned with criticizing capitalism, without offering any realistic replacement, so unsurprisingly all attempts to implement communism had little to do with the core ideas behind communism and made little economical sense.
