Born in '77, it seems my generation was the last free one. We played outside every single day, neighbors & friends would just show up at your house unannounced, no cell phone bullshit, etc. All the men worked w their hands, had families, worked on cars, radios, etc. It all started falling apart in the late 90s. Luckily I was grown then, but I wouldn't trade my childhood for anything. Poor shithole Appalachian town w nothing going on, but we were always doing things.
