Also be careful of the merchant trick newfrens like yourself might not be aware of : the LCS make you pay at face value, but buy back at weight. And it's for a simple jewish trick : old junk coins have wear, thus never weight as much as when they were minted, and it can easily go as far as 10% of the coin content missing!
Let say your $100 FV = 1KG normally, in truth you'll end up with 900gr of silver, and the LCS will purchase back for 900gr, not 1KG.
Personally if i were you i'd go for maple leafs if you want an easy pick, they are pretty much impossible to counterfeit, .9999, legal tender, are widely renowned and often are the cheapest option in the US but tend to appreciate over time.
