the gov passed a stupid law which doesnt allow us to buy booze, cigs and some other stuff on weekends in stores.
now if you get caught without a mask or break the some covid precausions you have to pay a fine 50-2000 euro.
there was a "protest" a few days ago againt the new laws. around 1000 people showed up and it died in a few hours.
theres an educational reform going on where the gov is trying to make the who education process more progressive but it is a fkin joke. (soviet education system was masterrace imo)
also the whole country is about to go from just a state of emergency to a lockdown.
the covid patients are piling up and the healthcare system cant keep up at all.
wages are small and everything is overpriced.
the countryside is in fkin shambles and only the major cities florish.
things are shit. but not 90s latvia shit.
