>>20288329>This is REALLY interesting, at first I thought it was a countermark/counterstamp from Peru but after browsing old south American coats of arms I think it could be from El Salvador, or maybe from some iteration or sub-state within the Federal Republic of Central America of the early/mid 1800s. It's super interesting and could be surprisingly valuable, especially since it's struck on such an early cob. We definitely gotta research and dig deeper on this one fren.Very glad to hear about that. From what can be seen i too would think of Peru because of the mountain like on those 1/4 reales, and what seems to be a phrygian cap (illuminated rays surrounding it like on early mexican pesos?). On top of the mountain i'm not so sure, maybe a cloud?
Pic is the coin with the correct tilt.
It's time for me to hit the bed, but tomorrow i hope we can find some time to investigate the matter scrapfren!
