The triathlon spun out the TJ-Taylor thing, and everyone polarized against Jimmy, The Cell spawned the Duanye-Trish feud, and the Furniture Wars pissed TJ and Trish off real bad at Duanye's backbiting and is why TJ stiffed him on the prize money, Jimmy also sperged out over losing. Tay got roped into the drama because she got upset when Jimmy got kicked for the mallet. Money was the ONLY motivator that got people pissed off.
Friend tank was broken by money, not starvation, heat or attic missions.
