We had some chuckles discussing various elements of the whole, such the cosine/sine portion.
He first felt it had to do with a spreadsheet, but noted what appears to be musical elements, feeling the 'bubble' denoted it being more in line with computer science. We left it there, he now being more perplexed than I was...kinda-sorta.

At this point, I am parsing it from an entirely different angle than from whence I first started.
