>>18505138Well, if we can't cool Venus down to make CO2 to fall on the planet surface in form of snow (and then somehow cover it with other stuff, like water) - maybe we can actually get rid of its atmosphere by cooking it off, by incearing the temperature of Venus even further, by using reflectors for example. Then, when most of it is out - we could block some sunlight by proper gases released in upper atmosphere or by covering the sun itself by some ultralight cover. After many thousands of years we'd have pretty comfy planet but totally and absolutelly dry - so there woluld be no plants save gardens artifically hydrated.
I doubt terraforming Venus will ever be worth the effort and cost tho'. Probably cities floating in upper atmosphere would be much more doable.
