It generate micro bubbles on the surface of the items who vibrate at very high velocity and rub away the particles without damaging the item.
I bought a cheap chink one off amazon but it was more a toy than anything. It did work to some degree, but it wasn't what i needed since my idea was to plunge batches of dirty coin to make them cleaner, it's probably more suited for very precise work so i returned it.
