>>20076789I'm glad you liked it, it's actually probably one of my favorite pieces of music honestly, that guy is one of my biggest musical influences in general actually. That song in particular is very evocative of a hazy personal memory of being a child in a large pet store in the mall, high off an early 00s arcade session (likely after playing Crazy Taxi), and wandering through the dark, bluelit corridor of the aquarium/reptile section of the store, absorbed in the spiritual amazement of a young child seeing previously unknown lifeforms for the first time. Inside my mind's eye the disparate forms of man-made technology and primordial reptilian/aquatic biology intertwined into unity into a cosmic DNA helix of sorts, and I felt a sense of otherworldly wonder almost unknown to adults. In a private moment of quasi-psychedelia I saw all beings on earth, including new manifestations of consciousness not yet brought into being (robots, AI, human consciousness uploaded to a digital plain) as one organism all pulsating to the cosmic song and dance of existence. Obviously as I child I didn't understand what I felt intellectually/verbally, only on a primal and spiritual level, but it was a very powerful moment for me and one of my favorite childhood memories, and this song almost perfectly captures that feeling for me.
