i tried ancient dungeon and unfortunately i think my fears were well founded. the swordplay is fine so long as you kill things in one hit, but as soon as something survives a strike it's absolutely painful. doesn't help that you have both a sword and dagger so you need too choose between operating your primary damage or a thrown weapon with your offhand and both feel awful
