>>13782915it's just a gag. most of the posters have always been euro
>>13782916yeah the issue is that as time goes on it's becoming increasingly apparent that classes are so slow and stupid because they don't want to allow anyone to fail.
for example the reason i bring it up is because i'm just not turning in an assignment worth 10% of the grade because the format is annoying, so i went to see what my grade is if i assume i get a 0 on it. right now that would put me at a 98%
just feels very demeaning to be a year and a half into studying and still being pushed to have conversations with my classmates such as "what is your favorite food? my favorite food is ramen. i like it because it is delicious." makes class a huge pain to participate in
it just sort of depends on your goals and preferences i guess. now that i'm at the point that i understand conversational grammar i've just sort of stopped active vocabulary study and started to just read mangos while looking up every word i don't know. of course i often end up googling the same word 4 times in 1 day, but they do start sticking eventually. the more grammar you cram now the less painful the transition to this sort of thing later on will be and there's nothing stopping you from doing both (which is what most people recommend), but i personally think there's nothing wrong with accepting that vocabulary is going to be a pain until you just sort of pick it up later on as long as you have the patience to google every word.
so long as we've still got active hours every day i'm not too worried about it
bro you don't understand like batman's parents were shot in front of him bro it's like tragic
