>>2145673That's a problem on your end. You claim to like /bant/ yet it seems you have yet to dive too deeply into its culture. Take a look at each thread by its individual merits and then decide on whether it's worth keeping or not. A thread is more than its OP, and I've seen great things happen in otherwise forgettable junk threads. Ultimately, I feel one issue with /bant/ is the fact that it's insecure as far as stability is concerned: many shitpost threads are placeholders for proper content made in respose to a precieved invasion from other boards: /pol/, /r9k/, /a/. /bant/ is afraid that what culture it has will be replaced entierly by that of another board, and the immigrants will drive out the original posters as to what happened to the robots. This already sort of happened when blepe crashed and burned, and /bant/'s remaining memes are trying to avoid this on various levels because being hated by a couple random anons is preferable to being destroyed entierly and getting replaced by Mr. Green.
