>>16574925But, I don't really know what I can amount it to, me actually being more cognitive this time, or that my brain made the links because of my past playthrough. It's hard to believe because it was such a long time since I played, I had forgotten the existence of levels like Paris completely, but I guess it's possible on a subconscious level.
The weird thing is, I still took longer to complete the game this time than my first playthrough. What the fuck.
The initial one took 24 hours, and this one 28. I have no idea how. Like I said, I spent hours in the other one just walking around maps trying to find where I'm supposed to go.
Am I actually just delusional and remembering things wrong? I really didn't take long to get through the levels this time.
Now, I guess the hour or so I spent LAM or object climbing to get out of bounds in some maps can be excluded, and an hour of being AFK, but even after that it's still longer than my first playthrough.
It might be because I played on realistic this time? But even then, it's not like I got stuck in any particular sessions for an insane amount of time. I probably didn't have to quick-load more than 10 times in any of the tougher parts.
It may be the perfectionist thing that I have with this game. I tend to savescum and quick-load back if I mess up one little thing, like getting shot once by an enemy, while having a full stack of medkits in my inventory. That's probably why I had the maximum amount of medkits throughout basically the entire playthrough?
Still not as bad as how I did it in TNM. I actually got throughout my second playthrough of it by taking zero damage at any point in the game. Technically, that is.
Anyhow, I still don't recall that taking much time away at any part of the game.
Just weird how time runs by without you noticing. I thought that I had spent a dozen hours at most after playing the game throughout a weekend, but it turned out to be 28.
