tonic level of dopamine = how much dopamine is already hanging between ur neurons
phasic level of dopamine = what your neurons release based on a stimilus
so if you have low tonic level. your receptors will have a bigger phasic response. and if you have a high tonic level you will have less of a phasic resonpose. which is why adhd meds use drugs that receptors keep the dopamine more. im trying tyrosine. adhd people said it worked well so it might be worth a try. wether i have it or not. cant hurt too much.
