the rather recent obsession with university is american imported trash and most of the young men that are enrolling in unis to take meme degrees nowadays will end up earning a fraction of what a good tradie earns.

My main hobby I could consider as a job is picking trash from streets. Being a trash man seems kinda cool, once you get used to the smell, but the stigma and potentially low pay scares me nearly as much as those old ladies working in local supermarkets for decades to no end, everyday, same shit, every year more emotionally unstable..

Pick a trade like an electrician, plumber, welder, etc and you'll end up making more money than the average college graduate. At least that's the case in the US.
