My faith in Christ's divinity is slipping

No.13340275 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hey everyone. I'm wondering if the religious of /pol/ can help me out with a problem I've been having for the past 4 months now; the divinity of Christ is starting to doubt in my mind.
I find it hard to get solid certainty in Him again. I used to be absolutely certain and almost cocky to the point of knowing how retarded atheists were, but since the reliability of the Gospels has been thrown into question for me, I've started to doubt. How do we know Christ said the things he said? How do we know the Apostles weren't lying?
I can argue that the Apostles had no motive to lie, since they had no power or money to gain from it, but the doubt is still present in my head. I should also be clear that I cannot have enough faith in atheism, ever, to be atheist. God the Father, or Yahweh, was real, and archeological excavations at Jericho and Tal El-Hammam proved that to me. (Although the lack of archeological evidence for the Exodus has made me uneasy)
Please, if you could, explain to me why you're Christian still, or what keeps you completely convinced in the Resurrection.
(BTW, I'm Catholic, so if you have anything to say about our miracles, please tell me why you believe in those like Guadalupe or Fatima, or even the Eucharistic Miracles).
I cannot live life without a world with God.
