I knew about them and I rejected Christ because I thought he was one of them, but I was wrong. Christ is against them, as he is against the hypocrites.
Read the story of Noah and of Lot. God did not have a chosen people: he saved the good and destroyed the wicked.
Jesus was like the angels sent to Lot. They may take his words out of context but his every message and parable confirms he was sent to save only a few who were good and to condemn the rest, because as a people they had chosen wickedness and hypocrisy and decried the good. And they were: they were absolutely destroyed. Jesus came to bring a sword: he divided the house against itself and that house fell. The ones in their place now are not who they were.
The God of Abraham and Issac and Jacob is not their God, he is the God of all people.
Do not think you know Jesus because of a lines or two of the gospels that are taken out of context. Read it for yourselves before you disagree.
