yeah, it seems like keeping up with all my usual stuff every week should be a pretty good amount of practice. i did decide i'm going to keep reading one in english though since it's a bit of a period piece and i simply cannot be assed to try and decipher 19th century japanese, even if it's only actually a few outdated words/phrases thrown in to otherwise modern japanese
just sort of depends how long it takes the current ones to grate on me. my gut reaction is to say that i don't exclusively use ones i've made myself, but i can't actually remember the last time i used one i found elsewhere without modification
