But anyways, here are some thoughts to share (given within a Christian context) as contributions to the thread:
Try to take some time to reflect on Jesus Christ, and what His story means to one personally.
Afterwards, find a Cross, or a picture of The Virgin Mary, and keep it within visible range.
Perhaps put that image as one's computer or mobile device background?
Eventually, as one's mind consumes the filth that is out there in this world, leading their heart and mind further astray, one will also be leading themselves to look at images and symbols that *remind* them of Him and His teachings.
The theory here, is that the constant remembering will bring oneself to reflect on their actions as weak, and they will begin to ask Christ for strength, and He will give it to them, because they have willfully accepted that they want His Grace to guide them and strengthen them.
Images of The Virgin Mary tend to work well here.
Imagine browsing erotic and pornographic images and videos, and then looking at an image of The Virgin Mary that one has on their room's wall, or as their desktop or mobile device background?
Eventually, by putting The Virgin Mary or Christ's Cross within their eyesight, one may start to think:
"I'm sitting here consuming sexually erotic material, when my mind could be consuming other material..."
Here's an image.
Imagine having such an image on one's wall, or as their computer background, and they look at it regularly?
What thoughts will such an image bring to one's mind?
(Again, in a Christian context. If one does not understand or does not like it, then disregard the post.)
