I survived mainly with just little gigs and tips, busking here and there and giving guitar lessons. I had to get part time jobs a lot even than.
Now with vaxx pass and everything, its totally fucked. Like it's DONE bro. Part of why I want to just leave and go back to alberta. Worse, the music community is completely divided and are self policing

And this is all coming after the DJ/Rap/Computer revolution that pretty much wiped the entire art form clean of musicianship. There are pockets but they are non-sustainable.
It's a big part of why I've gone back to christianity, its literally demonic out here LOL I'm hoping to get into a church band or something to keep it up as a hobby. Maybe I'm being a defeatist here but I don't see a way.
If you have any advice on picking a new career path, that would probably help me the most LOL I'm 32 btw.
