brainlet here trying to find the origins of Jewry, here's what I have so far:
I believe it's to do with the pharisees writing the babylonian talmud during the jewish exile to babylon. The pharisees are what Jesus described as "The false Jews, the synagogue of satan" etc. who use the torah as a white sepulcher, whilst preaching things considered a sin like usury, greed, sodomy sex with children. I'm still learning and there's a lot of gaps that need filling in, but this might be the origin: modern european Jews are descendants from the Khazar empire, when they converted through political convenience from pagan worship. The Khazar empire, and the operation of the khazarian mafia performing raids on the neighboring regions was detested by the neighbouring Byzantine empire to the west, and the Caliph to the East and so in order for peace to be maintained, they were given a choice of three religions. If the Khazarians were to convert to Christianity, or Islam, the religion of the neighboring countries than khazaria would be subject to the religious authority of Christianity, or to that of Islam, thus undermining the empires sovereignty. Judaism was a good pick, independent from Christianity, whilst originating from the same teachings as Christianity, and also being recognized by Islam. The talmud is a civil code, written by the pharisees over time. It describes how Jews should live, how they should treat non Jews etc. Khazaria being pagan,and known to perform child sacrifices to Moloch, would find it hard to accept a religion forced on them out of pure convenience, and so were allowed to continue performing their pagan rituals, as a result pagan rituals were incorporated into Judaism. The khazarian empire pushed as far as what is now greece (cherson, in the byantine peninsula), but were pushed back by russia in the 10th century and the empire fell in the 11th century.
