The second half is 1335 days or 1290 days plus another 45 in which Satan is upon the Earth. The second half is the portion in which the mark, fema camps for those who refuse and all the hard stuff takes place.
Then St. Michael slays Satan, the dead in Christ rise and then the living. After all of this comes the third section - The Wrath of God. Another period of around 3.5 years where Jehovah himself pours out his wrath upon the Earth and the wicked who have taken the mark and disobeyed the law are tortured, they pray for death but death does not answer them.
A lot of people call the second half of the tribulation and the wrath of God the tribulation but this is not correct. The tribulation is the test and the wrath of God is only for those who failed it.
A lot of people get messed up because the Book of Revelations begins with John seeing the third part - the Wrath of God destroying the Earth but those early chapters reference events that are later introduced - such as the Mark that all are forced to take which isn't introduced until Chapter 12. The events of the book of revelation were shown to John in order of importance not in chronological order and that's why so many people have trouble understanding it.
