well when i was first learning it i used the most popular tutorial out there and the issue i ended up having was that it tries to teach you a bit of everything when it seems to me like it's more useful to learn just the bare minimum of what you need
for example the tutorial content was using a donut for an example, so they take you through the basics of modelling, sculpting, texturing, material editing, lighting, and post-processing so that you can go from an empty canvas to a nice picture. i think it's better to try doing a couple of projects for one or two steps before looking at the others really at all
