I see a lot of Christians on here. But most of them seem like the shut in philosophical type who don't actually do anything with their faith. They just shout "Deus Vault" and literally refuse to go to church because "Muh organized religion is corrupt!"
I grew up as a "Church of Christ" fundamentalist Christian. I don't think I've seen one anon on here that would meet the criteria for this type of Christian. Basically they believe that you cannot add or remove anything from the "Word of God."
We never used instruments for worship.
We never used the treasury for anything other than helping the needy saints or the Church.
We believed that it was wrong to eat inside the Church building or have get togethers like most modern Churches do now.
As far as I can remember as well, there were basically no young people my age that went to these Churches. I was only around people that were 40 and up. Some churches only had members that were 50 and up! It's fucking crazy to think that this type of Christianity could literally go extinct in my life time honestly.
