>>16155844i'm not surprised, since i always enjoyed more action orientated movies as opposed to more tension orientated ones. neither option is my favorite, since i get bored by non-stop action scenes, but dark corridor shit and indestructible slasher shit definitely bores me even more. i don't want to cope for my bad taste, but i think a lot of these movies have problems with the length of "tense" and "action" scenes, because they can usually drag long enough to bore me to tears. i never had that problem with the thing, i though that was probably the best 80s flick i've ever seen and i'm convinced it's all just due to pacing and never allowing me to get bored
that's good i agree.
that's good me neither
i thought prometheus and the first avp from 2004 were alright. nothing too groundbreaking but i had my fun. i actually saw the first avp in the cinema, i was super hyped since i had recently played the avp 2 game. unbelievable that there's only 3 years separating those two, i remember thinking "oh wow, hollywood has decided to adapt this obscure ancient game, how lucky am i?" at the time. never seen any of the sequels, prequels or later adaptations of eithr
of the two, i'd probably give it to avp. prometheus was more competently made but it ultimately felt like a prologue to a bigger story which never materialized, while avp was just fun action schlock and they had the decency to bring on lance henriksen.
did you watch any of them mobies?
