made a nordic war axe so I can two war axes readily available in the quick items menu-erino and I made a nordic greatsword because I felt in the mood to use greatsworderino

later I'll repeat this method when finally upgrading my equipment to something better. I require a ton of daedra hearts since dragon bone weapons are very heavy, I can only make room for 2: twohandedaxe and war axe

What is the most impactful feature in a game? The dialogue, not the mini animations you can do like e.g. pet the doggo or something. Hearing the same dialogue over and over again is tiring, new dialogue is highly impactful

le character eating, drinking, or le dancing can be imagined in the mind, that is where you would have the most freedom to do so in. Like in what you see, the way you eat a piece of bread or pet an animal. Petting shadowmere...

I dont need freakin everybody to have custom dialogue because they're just background npcs anyway and Im not supposed to grow attached to them because in reality there would be like a bajillion or so different people in skyrim in its true scale, and even more throughout tamriel

I mean all this extra roleplay shit could be cool but then again some of it creates third-party restrictions because a mod dev thinks certain things shouldn't occur in a game, and that is their opinion but my OC is about looking at the bigger picture, not every minute little detail. And my OC is based off of the leniency of the elder scrolls lore and Im not playing some average little fisherman who woke up one day cursed with the le title "dragonborn" (and subsequently fisherman "dragonborn" gets killed by a bandit or myriad of other ways to be killed in the 'rim because le hardcore RP-erino)

Like if we walked through solitude, I dont just see surface level solitude. Canonically, solitude is a large city so it'd be like walking through like idk I dont wanna say rome or constantinople because the cyrodil city is that large, but it is a significant city in the realm of skyrim, bustling with tons of towns folk, lots of streets and that means lots of walking to get to the palace and back

ugh pondering hiveminds and pondering lore-possible ways to subjugate people in the 4th era of the elder scrolls post–stormcloak-rebellion is driving me insane

what even is hivemind when not even creature hive societies on earth (ants, and bees) do not even share a consciousness. What they do is communicate with eachother via pheromones and crap

So basically im thinking with elder scrolls, all of the above: public displays of cruelty, magic-brainwashing (illusion), vast spy and assassin networks, loyal generals who venture out to do my bidding (expand, attack, and defend). If I were to happen across a general who appears too untrustworthy he'd get disappeared and replaced with a person more deserving to lead an army.
