>>18184487I need to repeat myself, because you don't seem to get it: I haven't made any claim about truth of those data, yet, that I know of. The topic of the thread was that those data are "unsourced". I pointed out that those data usually go back to Lynn and specifically the data collected by Becker.
Are we on the same page so far?
From your expletive laden sentence fragments, I have been able to gather that the gist of your argument appears to be:
> Those IQ scores were not directly measured (at least not in the way other nations were measured) and were simply inferred in the case of Romania.I don't know if that's true. I haven't made any statement about my belief of that being true or not.
I was excited to have found a full copy of "The Intelligence of Nations":
https://www.ulsterinstitute.org/ebook/THE%20INTELLIGENCE%20OF%20NATIONS%20-%20Richard%20Lynn,%20David%20Becker.pdfIt's a 436 page e-book. I remember havind read many studies by Lynn, Vanhanen, and I had at one point found the full CSV of Becker, who seems to have done most of the leg work of gathering or compiling the data for them. I've also read Mankind Quarterly from time to time.
I have not interest in an e-penis contests. I spent half the time trying to figure out what you're even trying to say.
In that book, there appear to be at least six places in which Romania is mentioned specifically, one being pic related. They did not appear to have used methods for Romania that are substantially different from other countries. Those "formula" and calculations to arrive at a final IQ score do not seem unusual. As far as I understand, they do not just pop out from individual scores in specific subsections and there is always some transformationa necessary to get a proper IQ score from other tests. I remember reading the WISC manual on this, which usually needs to be purchased for some considerable cost but someone had shared this on Scribd.
