People in Blue states like California would consider me to be a "redneck flyover state" guy. In the end, they don't realize they are averaged out by subhumans and they themselves are "one trick ponies" ie possibly able to do high paying jobs but have no broader intelligence or skillsets. I feel this could be the case with Northern Italy - the difference in GDP and even IQ scores being due to the aversion of the people in the South of Italy not participating in that sort of thing.
To put it in perspective, I could have a 135IQ but since I like hunting, shooting, the military, off road vehicles, and deny covid, the people doing the tests would either not report my scores or wouldn't bother to test me in the first place since their kneejerk/stereotyped reaction is "nurrrr rednecks = dumb". See what I'm saying?
