The thought process is broken here, and I don't think we can expect anything but. Time and time again, Loona pushes everyone away, just for them to show her love. However, in Loona's head she's not worthy of any kind of affection, and so she lashes out at them. Loona believes she's this creature no one really wants around, as shown in the finale, and it comes out in odd ways. It is extremely hard to let someone love you in this state.
So when millie and moxxie come by, and are kind to each other and even her sometimes, she can't stand it because she thinks she can't have friends at all.
And when moxxie calls out her behavior, which he doesn't understand, and tries to scold her, it reinforces her own self-doubt.
It's really terrible and it's why you can't step on her paw or call her 'spoona'
