Crypto has way more usecases.
Self storage (no gov can block), international transfers, store of value to aviod getting dumped by central banks, loan, borrow, casino (like buying pwif on base chain)

I think the main appeal of crypto is decentralisation. Normally you put your money in a bank and it's enough if you live in an economically stable country like US. But if the situation gets bad like in Chile, your bank might go bankrupt and you lose all your funds. This can't happen with crypto because it's just circulating over the web. Also the places where you can pay with it is not just negroweeb. They are gradually increasing
You might consider buying some shitcoins once NATO starts the invasion of Russia.

Spending <money on drugs is usually a bad investment. With the current bullmarket right around the corner, I personally am stacking up a lot of BTC, ETH and also some Dogebonk.
