I say this since it has been over a month since his death, but this is just my opinion.
As a Japanese, I find it pretty ridiculous that this French clown and other politicians mentioned Akira Toriyama's death. He was only a cartoonist for kids, and not even that good.

Dr. Slump was a boring comedy and it appealed to pedophiles. Dragon Ball was just haphazard nonsense where bunch of buff retards beating each other up. Subsequent works were even worse and didn't even become popular.
I guess anyone who worships him as a talent comparable to Da Vinci or Picasso is a manchild nerd who needs to go outside.
