Jesus, also known as Rabbi Yeshua, was probably a real historical person but every bit of writing we have about his teachings is potentially suspect and may have been altered by church figures long after his death. He likely never claimed to be the son of god and obviously never did anything supernatural. His death is corroborated by reliable historical accounts though.

The "Jesus" that appears after the resurrection was a completely different person pretending to be him. He is even noted as not looking the same as he did prior to his death. The apostles literally got scammed.
