I don't think so you have to try outside of school if you want to get better at anything. A lot of Irish people can't speak Geailge even tho we have been taught since we enter school most can only ask to go to the toilet and few other simple phrases that are drummed into you. I think if you want to learn a language you have to do it yourself and have an interest

probably the same as most americans learn other languages. You learn in school from a young age. It's very easy to learn a new language at a young age and gets progressively more difficult as you get older. I started Spanish when I was 9 and continued through college until I was 21. I feel as though I was damn near fluent at probably 14 maybe 15. you just have to keep going with it, nothing substitutes hard work anon

Get a job with a bunch of mexicans. Soon you will learn a jumble of different dialects and region specific words. Your spanish will be awful but you'll at least learn it. Shit man, i can tell you where the person is from just by the accent not just mexico but any south american country

That's something I've always been kind of interested in. What are you supposed to look for in Spanish to find region accent differences? I mean, a Spanish person obviously sounds different than a Mexican, but what's the difference between someone from Oaxaca and Baja?
