For every victory he had, for me, there were blows, failure, disappointment, loss and more. For every second he spent cherishing bliss, I spent an eternity mourning what I'd missed. But I would rather be me. Despite the constant rejection. Despite the mental problems and distress. Despite the scars of a myriad of lost fights and forlorn opportunities. I would rather be me. Because in the whole cosmos of people. In the vast unending parade of humanity. Chad has provided the universe with absolutely naught. He has never had one thought not thought before to some degree. Never has he understood the uniqueness that comes with deformity. Not said a single thing truely and utterly special. That is to say, something that was not recycled from the past. Where as I. Lonely. Ignored. And barely noticeable amongst the vastness of space. I am shining. A star.
