Trim with scissors. It helps to take a warm shower before to open up your pores and soften the hair.
To see your butt get a handheld mirror and squat above it, look down and shave. It takes a little coordination so be careful not to cut yourself. Make sure to exfoliate after to completely clear your skin. Have some cortisone on hand if things go south. Good luck, anon
