>>5308054Jesus, how is that guy not dead.
I haven't done half of those things, but I'm one foot well into the grave. The only reason I'm trying my best to quit is for my wife and young son.
Heard a funny one at AA yesterday (3rd time I've been) it was actually a great meeting. Only + years sober are asked to speak.
One lady said she now loves to hear women getting done dui driving their kids to school and proceeded to call them gooodie goodies, because they actually took their kids to school.
Also said she drove home one time and her husband asked if she forgot something. Yup, her 6 month old baby. She said she knew she deserved to be locked up and today you would be. Yeah, being an alcoholic and a mother is a whole new level of irrisponsibility.
Another guy said he was a sponsor to a hitman. He'd killed several people on kings cross over drugs. He was going to even go to the police about it, but his sponsor said one step is to not do it if it will hurt yourself or others. The hitman ended up working for the red cross.
Another guy said he was a corrupt police officer and wondered how much more money he would have made being corrupt in this day and age.
Pretty crazy shit.
>>53080006 months is amazing anon. At least you could quickly see how badly it reacts with your body/mind. I hope the next sober stage of you life lasted the rest of your life.
