It would be cool if you appreciated her official songs, but if you don't, you don't.
You still like her voice and appreciate her in general. That counts for something!
I've been a Miku fan since 2008. I love all her early songs, the Project Diva games, pretty much everything to do with her and I've even cosplayed her and seen her in concert.
There are certainly different levels of fan, but as far as being a REAL fan, I think you count just as much as I do.
She's a very malleable character, after all. She means something different to everyone who likes her.
