1. I recommend them to read the Elfen Lied manga and stay far away from the anime.

Violets, amaryllises, and edelweiss. Violets and amaryllises are beautiful flowers that link to her shy nature, not to mention violets are purple, a noble color which fits well with her being from a wealthy family. Edelweiss literally means "noble white", and is a flower that mainly grows high up in the European mountains like the Alps. Fits well with Nozomi, who's known to be fond of German songs and singing in the mountains.

In conclusion, I think she would like purple and white flowers. Maybe pink ones too, but red and yellow ones don't really fit her. That's just based on aesthetics, though.

If she's a mindless zombie and can't be cured, then the only thing to do is put her out of her misery, sad as it would be. She herself would never want to "live" in such a state, as being seen as an imbecile was something she hated, so her becoming a mindless creature would be the ultimate mockery of her. Grass in general, I think. While she would certainly choose Primarina in gen 7 for being a Fairy-type singer, she would mostly be attracted to the strategic defensive play with status and absorbing moves that most Grass starters offer.

She seems like she wouldn't mind living a traditional and analog lifestyle, and while she wants to pursue a career as an opera singer, being a housewife isn't something she's against. However, some research suggests the 50s were even more hellish than today, which is already bad enough, for people with her issues due to primitive technology and societal attitudes. If that one issue got solved, though, she'd do just fine.
