>>3521005I think Raven has more powerful and varied magical abilities than my Sheik does. I think my Sheik makes up for it though by being gifted in stealth, agility, and combat with weapons.
For backstory, while they are overall different, I actually think Raven and Sheik share some common points. I will first explain my Sheik's backstory and then explain why they have some commonality. There is actually quite a lot to this, but since a lot of it isn't relevant, this will be missing some important details. Just know that there are more details and complexity to my Sheik's backstory than I am describing here.
The part I'm going to speed through is this: Ganon, the holder of the triforce of power, wants to collect all of them and become an all powerful tyrant. Zelda, holder of the triforce of wisdom, would be easily defeated by Ganon. Link, the holder of the triforce of courage, is currently sealed away so he can age enough to wield the weapon to ultimately deal the final blow to Ganon. Zelda's homeland is quickly taken over by Ganon, but she is able to narrowly get away on horseback with her caregiver, the Sheikah tribeleader, Impa. When they both escape, both Zelda and Impa hatch a plan to hide Zelda. This way Ganon won't be able to kill her and steal the triforce. Their plan: seal Zelda away in her own body, create a new soul using the triforce she holds, let that soul inhabit Zelda's body, change how Zelda's body looks, let this new person hide out from Ganon until the Hero of Time is revived, let this new person help that Hero so he can stand a chance, and finally, defeat Ganon.
The previous paragraph sets the framework for everything. I skipped a lot of stuff, but I'm sure you get the picture. Now that you have a basic understanding of this, you can understand my Sheik's backstory as I am about to explain and you'll start to see how her and Raven are relatively similar.
