Long story short this dude at a remote field medical outpost smuggles his high school sweetheart into vietnam. At first things are cool, he gives her a tour of the base and stuff, she learns how to cook food for the local vietnamese. Then she starts taking in interest in his job, whenever the choppers bring in causualties she helps pinch severed arteries among other things.
