/c/ threads last days, even weeks. I'm sure we can manage a thread a week if our activity goes up, but we should not make it too fast.
But yes, we should discuss things like news and the like. Chapter dumps might also be good: /c/ encourages image dumping, so chapter dumping might be a good idea. However,, we should make sure each discussion post we have has an image, and we don't make it simple reaction/short posts - reserve those for slow days and/or page 9
