While ocular motor control may be nigh-impossible for born-blind people, crossed-eyes and esotropia are very common but not universal. Blind eyes don't always become misaligned, but simply center or revert to rest position. That .gif from earlier with Lilly moving her eyes around is probably not a thing she can actually do, but her eyes not being crossed isn't unrealistic, she just isn't able to move her eyes around with normal coordination.
