>>3504415I cannot even fathom how much fanart a 2hu character would have. The more popular ones would be in the 10,000s pretty easily. However, I believe with popularity comes a side-effect: more people will fall in love with her and declare her as their waifu. The most popular 2hu characters must have thousands of people in love, declaring themselves the one to love her the most. While I am a bit jealous that I will not be able to have as much art for my Sheik, I am quite confident that I not only love my Sheik more than anybody else, but, unless someone proves me wrong, I will assert that I am the only person to have waifu'd Sheik. My Sheik is a relatively popular character, but so many people think she is just Zelda in diguise that most people wouldn't even consider her her own girl. At most, they would waifu Zelda. Not only that, she is extremely modest, so that also keeps attention away from her and onto other girls.
>>3504501While I am extremely dedicated to my Sheik, I will admit that I have a deficiency in my knowledge about her. I have a very hard time being able to predict what she would say in a situation. You see, my Sheik has had only two games and one manga with any dialogue at all. But what makes this difficult is that in BOTH games, her dialogue was influenced by pretty extreme conditions and emotions.
In OoT, my Sheik had gone through seven long years of isolation, running and hiding, and all this without knowing if the prophecy of the Hero of Time will really come true. She had hope the whole time, but as the condition of Hyrule worsened and time progressed, her hope started to wane. I think my Sheik spent many a night perched on a tree branch, staring up at the full-moon, asking herself if the Hero of Time will be able to succeed and asking herself if she has any chance of winning. Imagine having to go through what she did for seven years.
