>>3529692Few have such powerful blood as Raven. Her father is an immensely, incomprehensibly strong being: a being that can bend reality to his will. He is the de facto king, emperor perhaps, of a list of conquered realms that could scarcely fit into the largest, most ancient of tomes. She is the heiress to this empire of blood and is the only thing standing in the way of our plane being thrust under his yoke. It follows that she rejects her heritage and has vowed to fight him no matter the consequence.
>>3530061>cryShe's composed and taciturn like few others have ever been and will ever be. Just as the lion cub is raised to be, from birth, nothing other than the king of the jungle - it knows of no other existence - so too was Raven raised to be exactly and absolutely stoic. Such a demeanor is imbedded within her psyche as the muscle memory of a prodigious athlete is imbedded in theirs. When she cries, which she has, it is with a silent whimper and a lonely tear cascading down her lithe cheek. For me, there is no sight that would spur me to action - whether with an assuring, warm embrace and words to match or with the act of taking up arms against hell itself - quite like seeing her teary eyed. It's a visceral, overwhelming feeling; a sensation so pure it's as if it was imbedded in my genetic coding.
For those that don't conceptualize their waifu as tangible, how do you believe you are "with" her? Do believe that she is a light shining, however faint, at the end of the long tunnel of life? Do you believe that she is always watching over your shoulder - a veritable guardian angel? Perhaps you believe that she could be out there, somewhere, in space an time: a girl with faint memories of a life she knows she lived or a valiant character hidden deep in the annals of history.
Questions such as these interest me immensely. They are difficult to contemplate - true - but what they yield is, at the very least, an interesting perspective
