>>3434910This seems likely to me, people who make digital goods have a really bad habit of assuming adding a physical component won't be too much more work, but organizing the manufacture of all of those things and getting them shipped out is a much bigger project than just posting a video file to a server. Add on to that that it's probably a huge pain in the ass to find a company that even makes cassette and VHS anymore and you now have the possibility of actually losing money, since you might have unknowingly sold something for less than it costs to produce. The person in charge probably had no experience working with things like this before, she should just release the video now and get the physical goods shipped out when they're ready.
