Otherwise I prefer not to think about the story and characters after Marley arc, it’s almost entirely shit. Also stupid, how am I supposed to take it seriously when we’re told that AM didn’t look after eren and try to help him during timeskip, that mikasa accidentally friendzoning eren caused the death of billions, that we know virtually nothing of what she likes or does, that the story has to resort to blatant character regression and assassination to prevent AM from helping and understanding eren in WfP. That Isayama clearly stopped caring about her after Clash arc and probably would have been glad to sideline her like hisu if she wasn’t so popular or supposedly important to his original vision of the ending, and instead just lazily kept giving her new attributes (ackerhax, hizuru princess, Acker-slave-which-Isayama-retconned-when-he-realises-how-dumb-it-was, fucking chosen one by god) to avoid developing her
Naturally as a mikasafag I do appreciate the intent to make her a a main protagonist in the final stretch, that’s where my good will ends since everything about it is disgustingly bad, I expected her to kill eren since uprising arc but goddamn.
So yeah in the end it’s just whatever, I’m glad that she is alive and honestly accidentally fits with some of my headcanon for the ending I had before it, I enjoy the ponytail mikasa fanarts and the EM copefics/fanart, I even enjoy the few high quality JM fanart, but she’s just a sad character to think about if I don’t expunge 1/3 of the story from my mind
Still rabu her, still gather countless fanarts of her, still coom to Yui’s voice, still self insert as her, and people who stopped liking her only because of JM are disgusting fake fans
