I also think that time or age doesn't really matter too much with fictional as they're timeless concepts and it's more about how they make you feel. A lot of characters out there are observed in their respective series at a lot of different ages, so who's to say which is the actual age they have? So there are two ways I look at it, one from my headcanon of me and her together and her as a purely fictional character whose concept I love.
I do think it will get a bit awkward as I get older and most of the pictures I have of her are from her being in her early 20s at most though. I think I would just branch out to commissioning an older more matured version of her. Her original design would still bring a lot of joy to me so I don't think it would be that big of a deal. A bit like looking at pictures of her in the past I guess.

I have a hard time imagining her with glasses, because I have maybe 4 images of her with glasses and only one of those is not sunglasses. I think she would wear some that don't stick out too much at the start though.
