Christmas for the gifts. She wouldn't be getting in the mood for it, per say, but she'd definitely enjoy it without any reservations.
After a nice early dinner at a restaurant with kyuute waitress uniforms, we'd drive to her hometown to walk around a bit before ending up in the junkyard on top of an abandoned SUV, watching the sun set together while listening to the Higurashi. Then, as all the conversation died down and we had nothing else to idly talk about, I'd say I had something I needed to talk about with her in my most serious tone. Then, I'd pull out the box with the ring in it.
