And you guys seem mad because you think the writers are somehow trying to "damage" Rei because they took a side in the waifu/husbando war? And you must defend Rei's fine reputation from them? And just seeing Rei Q triggers you. This is hilarious desu.
I see Rei Q as a variation on the concept of Rei. She might be fairly mindless now (but we don't really know) but she could become just like Rei 2/3 eventually. The template is there. I don't care that she's a "split off" clone like this.
